Requirement:
You need to be enrolled in law school in Denmark and looking for an internship abroad for the Fall 2024 semester or Spring 2025 semester as part of your education and official program with the University, as per the regular University terms for internships with credit.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with both US and Danish attorneys, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a diverse range of legal matters. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about law and eager to contribute to a collaborative and client-focused legal practice. As part of an official internship, you will be responsible for all expenses, including housing, insurance, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Research and Analysis.
Conduct research on US and Danish legal issues. Analyze statutes, regulations and case law.
- Document Preparation.
Assist in drafting legal documents, agreements and compliance-related materials. Collaborate with attorneys to ensure accuracy and completeness of legal documents.
- Client Interaction.
Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
- Compliance and Tax Support.
Support attorneys in ensuring client compliance with relevant laws and regulations and various US compliance filings. Assist in tax-related tasks, including preparation of tax filings.
- Immigration Assistance.
Work on immigration-related matters, including visa applications and documentation. Assist with document retrieval and organization.
Qualifications:
- At least in your second year of law school.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Strong computer and software skills.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
